How to Calculate Triond Earnings

Triond earnings are calculated by taking 50 percent of the net revenue earned through advertising that appears on Triond articles shown on the Triond websites.

The Triond income for each webpage submitted to Triond is calculated as shown in the formula below:

Earnings = page views * eRPM / 1000

eRPM

eRPM stands for effective-revenues-per-millennium, which is basically the amount of revenue calculated for each set of 1,000 page views. As such, page views are very important to the calculation of Triond earnings.

Estimated Average Article Payout

$1.00 per 1,000 views $0.10 per 100 views $0.01 per 10 views

Theoretically, an article can have a payout (eCPM) of anywhere from $0.50 per 1,000 views to $10.00 per 1,000 views, but this is more of the exception rather than the norm

Apart from page views, attention should also be paid to the following items in order to earn more on Triond:

♦ Quality of the content

- Make each page unique. Google ranks the relevance of each website according to the content it contains, and is likely to cut the ranking of any Triond webpage which is ripping/plagiarizing content from other sites. This will inevitably affect the Triond earnings that can be calculated because a lower Google ranking means fewer page views for the Triond articles.

♦ Keywords

- Title tags appear in the title bar of the internet explorer browser and are one of the factors used by search engines to maximize the ranking for a particular search result. Use the appropriate keywords on all Triond articles to come out on tops in the search results. This will result in higher page views and thus higher calculated Triond earnings

♦ Popularity of the Article Topic

- Writing about how bad the rain is not going to garner as much views as an up and coming topic such as the launch of the new Sex and the City movie would. Also, the Sex and the City movie article is likely to get better and more expensive ads, resulting in higher calculated eRPM than the rain article.

♦ Content media type

- Written articles typically are able to result in higher calculated eRPM than photos because contextual advertising is more successful for such content.

Check for calculated Triond earnings

To check for calculated Triond earnings, open the Triond website to the Dashboard. Click on the content page to check how much each article is earning. Do this at least monthly to check, the earning potential of each article, which has been submitted. If one of the articles has, for example, approximately 1000 views, but is earning only about $0.60, then the articles are earning less than the estimated average amount of income. If, on the other hand, it has made $1.50, then the articles making more than the estimated average.
